Heavy snow this past winter was too much for one of the bridge spans. It broke near the footing leaving us without a safe snow machine crossing. Will, home for a visit took a look and said he could fix it.
He and Dan jacked it up
Tied the two ends of the span together

Anchored it to a solid birch tree
And called it good.
All it took was a good jack, a hefty repurposed railroad tie, a little ingenuity and a healthy dose of cabin can-do attitude and we're back in business.
First of course there had to be a Dan and a Will.
